Product Overview

The RD24-4S is a high-performance microwave Doppler radar sensor designed for professional motion detection scenarios including automatic door induction, security monitoring, and industrial automation. Utilizing 24.125GHz microwave technology, it features a planar wide-field antenna for accurate capture of moving targets (minimum speed 5cm/s) without blind spots. Detection range, position and depth can be flexibly adjusted via tilt angle and sensitivity potentiometer.

With a compact ABS housing (black/silver), lightweight design (0.215kg) and 2.2m pre-wired cable, the sensor is easy to mount and wire (JST connector + relay COM/NO interface). It supports 12-24V AC/DC wide voltage supply, meets IP54 dust and water resistance standards, and operates reliably in temperatures from -20℃ to +55℃, making it suitable for various commercial and industrial environments. The built-in LED indicator provides intuitive working status feedback, and the product complies with R&TTE 1999/5/EC and EMC 89/336/EEC international standards.

The sensor's performance is closely related to correct installation and adjustment—simple operation with no professional tools required:

Mounting Requirements: Avoid vibration positions, neon lamp proximity and sensor occlusion; do not touch internal electronic parts during installation.
Sensitivity Adjustment: Rotate the sensitivity potentiometer gently and slowly; the sensitivity value determines the size of the detection field (adjust to 1/2 or higher for short detection distance).
Angle Adjustment: Planar antenna lateral angle = detection field position; vertical angle = detection field depth; set microwave module angle to ≥45° for optimal detection.
Status Check: LED flashes after power-on (normal standby); LED lights up continuously when a moving target is detected (detection trigger).
